Startup carrier Air Premia to launch Seoul-Newark service

South Korea's Air Premia will launch four-times-weekly service between Seoul and Newark on May 23. The flights will be operated with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. 

Air Premia flew its first flights in the fall of 2021 and introduced U.S. service last October, flying five times per week between Seoul and Los Angeles.  

The carrier's Dreamliners are configured with 56 premium economy seats offering 42 inches between rows and 253 economy seats with 35 inches between rows. 

Air Premia will be the only carrier flying between Seoul and Newark. Korean Airlines and Asiana fly between Seoul and New York JFK.
